We Will

  1. Provide the agreed facilities for your child at the agreed times (subject to any days the club is closed).
  2. If the After School Club or Holiday Camps must close or we take the decision to close due to events or circumstances that are outside our control, we shall be under no obligation to provide alternative childcare facilities to you.
  3. Report any safeguarding concerns where we consider a child may be at risk, to the relevant authorities.

Parents Contract:

  1. Refrain from bringing in your child if you have administered pain reliever medicine (analgesic). 2.d Inform us when your child has had an accident at home resulting in any marks or bruising, specifically any injury above shoulders or head injury.
  2. Immediately inform us if your child is suffering from a contagious disease. You must not allow your child to attend the holiday club whilst suffering from a contagious disease, which could be easily passed on to another child during normal daily activities in the holiday club.
  3. Refrain from bringing your child to the holiday club if he/she has suffered from vomiting or diarrhoea. They must be clear of these symptoms for 48 hours.
  4. Immediately update/change your contact if they change.
  5. Keep us informed of who will be collecting your child, if the person collecting your child is not usually responsible for collecting them, we will require a pre-arranged password. If we are not satisfied that an individual is authorised to collect your child, we will not release your child into their care and we will contact you immediately.
  6. Immediately inform us if you are unable to collect your child from the After School Club or Holiday Camp at the official collection time. You will be required to pay a late payment charge each time you are late.
  7. Refrain from bringing personal property into the holiday club unless we specifically request you to do so, should you do so, then we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to these items.

Soundquest Terms and Conditions are to enable us to provide and maintain the highest standards of care and to ensure there is clarity about the contractual relationship between parents and the After School Club. We set out below our standard conditions:

Welfare of the Child:

We will do all that is reasonable to safeguard and promote your child’s welfare. Our After School Club and Holiday camps will work with children, parents and the community to ensure the welfare and safety of children.

Health and Medical Matters:

If your child becomes ill during a session, the supervisor in charge will contact the parent / carer or the emergency contact supplied. Parents must inform the us immediately of any changes to these contact details. If your child is suffering from a communicable illness, they should not be brought to our After School Club or Holiday Camps until such time as the infection has cleared.

We cannot administer any medicine to a child unless prescribed by a doctor and presented in its original packaging. Should the child be on prescribed medication, it is the responsibility of the parent or carer to notify the After School Club or Holiday camp. You will be asked to sign the necessary form of consent prior to any medication being given. After School Club staff will act in loco parentis whilst your child is in our care and as such we reserve the right to call an ambulance in an emergency and a member of staff will escort your child to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital. In that event, the After School Club staff will contact parents / carers immediately.

Food and Dietary Requirements:

Please inform us by filling out the relevant dietary requirements enclosed within this pack so staff are able to take the necessary steps so your child does not come into contact with certain foods. Nuts of any kind are not allowed within the After School Club or Holiday camp at any time. The Holiday Camps can provide a healthy lunch for a fee by request .

Concerns/Complaints:

Any question, concern or complaint about the care or safety of a child must be made in the first instance to the After School Club Leader or Preschool Manager. If the matter cannot be resolved at this level, the matter should be referred to the Chairperson of the Preschool.

In accordance with the General Data protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required under data protection legislation to protect the privacy and security of your personal information.
